Bathroom adaptations that we have completed
Level Access Shower Conversion
Our customer lives in an old, quirky cottage and needed to have the bathroom converted into a level access shower room.
The bathroom was in an attic room and the floor was 8" out of level from one side to the other. This adaptation certainly wasn't straightforward. We removed the bathroom completely and re-planned the layout to best suit our customers needs.
Tiles were removed from the walls and replaced with easy clean wall panels. The floor was finished with slip-resistant safety flooring.
Our custromer was delighted with the end result and it shows what is achievable in even the most problematic property.
Easy Access Shower Adaptation
Here we have before, during and after pictures of a recent bathroom adaptation we have carried out on behalf of our customer.
As the bathroom hadn't been updated for many years we carried out a complete refurb taking out the bath and and installing a low level shower tray with chrome framed glass screen. A shower seat and grab rails were also installed.
We replaced the old fashioned counter worktop with pristine white fitted bathroom furniture incorporating the wash hand basin and W.C.
WC to Wet Room Conversion
Our customer was experiencing difficulty using the bath but didn't really want it removed or altered as other family members lived at the property who liked to use the bath. He had a small WC Room and asked us to adapt this into a shower room for him. Our surveyor discussed the options available and it was decided that a wet room would be the best option considering the space available was quite small.
To make the most of the space we also installed a cupboard to one end finished with louvre doors.
