Walk-in Shower – December 2018

Our shower installation went smoothly once the installers were able to work on it, having recently moved into the flat, the bathroom really needed replacing. We were pleased with the fitters, they were punctual, polite and helpful, this included other residents also.

The installation was carried out in the time estimated and everything was clean and tidy as they left. We had never had anything done like this before so it was just instinct and the fact I rather trust in the little free paper we have. We would recommend Nightingales to family and friends.

Mobility Shower Installation – December 2018

We are really pleased with our complete new shower and bathroom.

Tony our fitter was so accommodating in every aspect of his work.

When he came upon a problem he solved it straight away, such as the ceiling coming down which wasn’t planned, next day there was a new ceiling up. Then the bath came damaged and he had to get a replacement, no problem. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

He was very clean and tidy hoovering every day before he left. Tony did an excellent job and we would highly recommend him to anybody thinking of having a new bathroom installed.

Also he finished the job one day earlier than expected even after all the problems he came across. We can’t praise his workmanship enough, excellent.

Disabled Shower Installation – November 2018

We recently had works done at the above address, and our fitter was Tom.

He was scheduled to be here for 10 to 14 days, but because of various difficulties, it took longer. However, Tom tackled every unexpected obstacle efficiently and each evening left the house looking very tidy. It was a great pleasure to have him here, and on a couple of occasions we had no problem in leaving him while we had to attend a couple of appointments.

He was extremely courteous, and his attention to detail was of the highest quality. We would recommend him and his work to everyone.

As requested I write to tell of my experience of the work changing my bathroom. I had a bath taken out, and a shower unit put in. Tom was the fitter, he rang me the day before to tell me approximately what time he would be with me, and of course, he introduced himself. I was very impressed with this, as when you’re living alone and elderly, it is reassuring to know who’s coming.

Tom was a very pleasant and friendly man, and very tidy. He did an excellent job and finished in the time I was told, even though I had floor tiles added to the job. I feel he went ‘the extra mile’, he explained and queried things as he went along, plus pushing the hoover through at the end of each day. Thank you Tom.

On the Monday Steve came to do the wiring and replaced the light fitting. Again, he was very polite and pleasant, he got on with the work and tidied up after himself, all done in just over an hour. Thank you Steve.

I would recommend your firm anytime, for the ‘workmen’ and the standard of the ‘unit’. I am thrilled with it – my life is much easier now. Thank you Nightingales.

Wet room Installation – April 2018

I have written the following review.

‘I needed a wet room rather urgently, owing to my medical condition. I contacted Nightingales, who carried out a comprehensive survey. Neil utilised the space available, allowing room to manoeuvre my wheelchair. His advice took everything into consideration.

The plan and quote was sent to me via email. Upon agreeing the installation, I was given a start date of about seven to eight weeks. I needed the work completed urgently, owing to personal circumstances.

Luckily, Nightingales were able to start by the time I needed them to. I was informed by their office of the start date.

On the day, the installer turned up on the exact time given. Tony was punctual every day. He was very polite, tidy and very helpful.

It took a total of eleven working days to complete, since he did not work weekends. Tony always left my house in a very clean and tidy state, every single day.

All the materials were delivered to my house by Tony, prior to commencing the works, so that there were no interruptions.

The completed wet room looks very smart. The work is fully guaranteed. The parts are guaranteed too.

The communication from the company, and the installer, was very good.

All in all, a very professional installation.

I would recommend Nightingales to anyone wishing to have any building works done.’
