As the person who oversaw this job for my mother, I would like to say Dean was an excellent fitter and did a superb job.

He was very clean, removed the old bathroom efficiently and packed it in his van, thus having a clean start to fit the new goods.

Heights of the armrests, seat, shower and grab rails were checked with me and agreed at every step of the way.

Everything about the installation has our approval and mum is delighted with her new shower room.

Mum lives in a retirement close, where all residents are retired and of a certain age. All of the neighbours have asked to see the new bathroom and are really jealous.

We would definitely recommend Nightingales to others.

Wet Room Installation – October 2016

I am writing regarding the wet room you recently installed in my home. I would like to say how impressed we have been with your service from start to finish. Mark came to survey the bathroom, he grasped what we were trying to achieve and came up with great suggestions, whilst allowing us to put our own touch by going away and choosing our own tiles, flooring and sanitary ware.

The fitting of the wet room took two weeks. Tony the fitter was thorough, courteous and efficient, dealing with unforseen issues such as a pipe which came apart in his hands and a partition wall which was rotten, calmly and with no fuss. Another fitter joined for 2 or 3 days and was polite and diligent. We had complete confidence in them both.

We are absolutely delighted with the finished wet room and would have no hesitation in recommending Nightingales to anyone looking for a new bathroom.

Shower Room – October 2016

We are extremely pleased with the shower room installation and were impressed by everyone at Nightingales that we had contact with.

Tony, our fitter, gave every attention to detail and the finish is impressive. He was hardworking, thorough and pleasant, giving us good advice when we asked. When one or two problems arose, he was calm and reassuring, and sorted them out capably.

He was also very accommodating in putting up the various accessories in places where we wished.

All this meant that, what could have been a stressful fortnight, passed off with very little anxiety. We always felt that everything was under control.

Wet Room Installation – August 2016

Dear Sirs

The service we recieved from yourselves was excellent. The initial consultation was carried out in a friendly yet professional manner. The consultant clearly explained the process and the costings, although the quotation was not the cheapest that we had been given, the confidence that the consultant inspired was such that we decided to go ahead.

We have had no reason to regret this decision. The work was carried out by an extremely competant and friendly installer who consulted with us at every stage when a decision was necessary.

This was not a straightforward installation (due mainly to previous plumbing work) and the installer / plumber had many issues to resolve. He dealt with the challenges with both creativity and flair and ensured that we were happy with his ideas before going ahead. He remained within budget (apart from one minor issue not covered in the contract). We could not have been more pleased with him.

The resulting installation is excellent and matched our desires. Our handicapped son (the primary user) is very, very pleased with his ‘new’ bathroom.

Accessible Shower Installation – May 2016

On behalf of myself, my husband, my mother in law and my sister in law, I would like to thank Nightingale Bathrooms and all the staff for making the conversion of my mother in laws bathroom such a seamless and pleasurable experience.

Our first impression of the workmanship and quality of the products used was excellent. We have waited to write so that we could give time to see how the walk in shower worked over time and it’s usability. I am happy to say that this has been excellent as well.

My mother in law has physical issues related with age and the walk in shower has given her back some of her independence and dignity. My mother in law also has dementia and struggles to cope with changes and learning to operate new products. However, the design, the selection of products and the instructions given by the fitter were all first rate and my mother in law took to using the shower straight away and is delighted with it.

I would like to extend our thanks to all of your staff, as it takes competent and hardworking staff right across your organisation to produce such an excellent experience.

I would like to thank in particular: Lily in your office, who was extremely helpful and professional and was one of the reasons we selected your company to carry out this work; and Tom, the fitter, who I cannot praise highly enough in all aspects of his work and in particular, his knowledge and expertise in the requirements of and dealing with elderly people. We had planned for myself to be at my mother in laws house during the installation, as she gets very confused and we were not confident she would have coped. However, it was evident from the first day that, although it was easier for me to be there, my mother in law would have been fine with Tom.

Dear Lily

My new shower room is absolutely fantastic – almost beyond my wildest dreams. So smart that I really do not like to use it. I have had my opening ceremony as a friend provided a small bottle of wine, some shower gel and a sponge – not all used at the same time and in the same place, I might add.

Paul was a delight – so hard working and conscientious – nothing was too much trouble and the quality of his work is to be admired.

The initial quote was higher than another but the finished shower room is well worth it. The fitter Paul, was a very hard worker and has done a lovely job.
